DETAILS: Hand made sketch of a radio, photographed and imported into Adobe Illustrator for re-tracing and colourization.

THE PROBLEM: I wanted to put a design of a radio with customizable colour variations on a t-shirt over on TeePublic.com

THE APPROACH: I drew a little picture of a radio and took a photograph. I uploaded the photo to Adobe Illustrator and ran an outline photo command. After adjusting the curves, and removing unwanted bits and adding a background colour, I exported it as a transparent .png (as needed for TeePublic uploads).

THE RESULTS: A versatile vector image available for use on its own or as a component to another design.
