DETAILS: As a sub-contracted freelancer I developed several variations of the 2014 Buskerfest Poster for use as out of home advertising in bus shelters and subway banners.
THE PROBLEM: Two out of home (bus shelter, subway station) posters representing ’night’ and ‘day’ concepts were required to include several hierarchical components while showcasing an eye catching image from a previous event. Creativity was encouraged while maintaining strict branding considerations.
THE APPROACH: The two distinct night and day posters were developed while maintaining a singular layout style that could utilize two (or more) different photographs representative of the high energy of the event itself. Appropriate placement of the logos and vital information was key to the versatility of the layout.
THE RESULTS: Uniform appearance allowed for effortless recognition of the event while presenting clarity in the most important messaging.
